WORK

Anchor 1

Professional Summary

In my years of working in the entertainment industry, I have been trained by some of the biggest names in Hollywood and collaborated with some of the most influential storytellers of our generation. However, in my journey of taking my film set experience to the next level, I have come to realize that translating those experiences into tangible achievements can be quite challenging.

How do you convey the experience of being in the same room as James Cameron on a resume?

How do you reframe the experience of remembering, assembling, labeling, and delivering 25 breakfast orders in 15 minutes for the entire makeup department?

How do you explain the importance of negotiating with Scarlett Johansson to get into her costume at 6:45AM instead of 6:50AM? And then, having to renegotiate with the transportation department to hold two vans for you because she took the extra 5 minutes.

I have excellent negotiating skills, my management abilities have allowed me to clearly communicate and keep track of over 300 extras on a cold morning, my organization skills are so sharp that I know exactly which crew member owes me radio #179 out of the 250 radios I'm keeping track of, my problem solving skills have consistently kept me 10 steps ahead. All these skills have been engrained in me in a unique industry, and they are transferable.

A film set is anything but glamorous; it has given me the exact type of training that provides me with the strength to believe that I can tackle any challenge that comes my way. Above all, it has instilled in me a unique and necessary work ethic for navigating this world.

Eight Years in Film

On the night of the 2016 Oscar’s, while I was still a film student, The Academy played a montage called "The Year in Film".

I remember that day almost as if it happened yesterday, sitting there with my college friends, right before we were about to witness an unforgettable night (this was the night La La Land was wrongly awarded for Best Picture).

While watching that montage I could feel myself getting a knot in my throat, it moved me, and I remember thinking, “One day, I'd like to see a montage like that with films that have my name in them."

That day has finally come, these are some of the projects I have worked on in the last eight years:
